Like many women, I wear a lot of hats. I am an editor of a design magazine, co-founder of Bump Water, mother of three boys (a three year old and 17-month-old twins), and a wife to (luckily) a very supportive husband. Now I am trying my hand at blogger.
Growing up, I wasn’t the type who wanted to have a big family, and now—after getting my head wrapped around the idea of one and then two years later, twins—I couldn’t imagine my life any other way. I realize though when we walk through our Brooklyn neighborhood and people initially smile and then do a head count and gasp, that maybe our traveling circus is worth writing about.
My goal here is to share 250 lessons learned through this crazy adventure life has taken me on—IVF, pregnancy, having and raising babies and toddlers, city living, finding some sort of life/work balance, really anything about being a parent. I’m not a perfect one by any means (I think that is lesson No. 1), but hopefully one you can relate to and laugh along with.
